About Masjid Al Mehmud

Alhamdulillah, brothers from Canada have purchased a small property in Cancun to build the first Muslim community in Cancun! The Masjid offers 5 daily prayers, Friday Prayers, and other services for the local and visiting Muslim community. The intention was to setup a thriving Muslim community in Cancun while making dawah to locals and visitors.

Masha Allah many Muslims pass through Cancun for various reasons and prior to Masjid Al Mehmud, there was no facility to for Muslims to pray and carry out essential services. Masjid Al Mehmud hopes to fill that void while building a larger Islamic presence in Cancun and the surrounding areas insha Allah!
